Transforming Lives and Schools

At Mzameni, we firmly believe in the power of community and collaboration. Our commitment to empowering children with learning disabilities goes beyond the classroom, and we are thrilled to share an inspiring story of partnership and support that has the potential to make a lasting impact on our school and, more importantly, the lives of our students.

Recently, the Wear Your Brand Foundation paid us a visit. Their mission is simple yet profound: to help small businesses grow. However, their reach extends far beyond the realm of commerce. They recognize the importance of investing in the future, and that’s exactly what brought them to our school.

Wear your Brand Foundation visits Mzameni

Understanding Our Needs

The visit was not just a cursory inspection; it was a heartfelt exploration of our mission, our challenges, and our aspirations. The team from Wear Your Brand Foundation took the time to get to know our school, our students, and the incredible work that our educators do day in and day out.

They asked questions, they listened, and most importantly, they understood. They understood the unique needs of our students, the dreams we have for them, and the obstacles we face in turning those dreams into reality.

Revamping Walls, Creating Dreams

The foundation’s visit was not just about words; it was about action. As a testament to their commitment, they’ve already begun the process of revamping our school. They recognize the importance of creating an inspiring environment for our students.

One significant contribution has been the donation of a sandpit, a simple yet invaluable addition to our school that fosters not only fun and play but also sensory learning, an essential component of special education.

A Heartfelt Thank You

We express our heartfelt gratitude to the Wear Your Brand Foundation for their visit to our school and their remarkable dedication to supporting children with learning disabilities. Your visit has not only brought attention to our cause but also holds the potential to attract valuable financial support that we desperately need to enhance our school’s infrastructure and overall growth.

The funding we receive will be instrumental in transforming our classrooms, acquiring essential teaching and learning equipment, and creating new employment opportunities. It will further contribute to the smooth day-to-day operations of our school. Your generous efforts are deeply appreciated, and we extend our sincere thanks for your commitment.

A Day of Motivation at KwaMathanda High School

Recently, Mzameni Children Assessment and Remedial Center, in collaboration with the Ikusasa Ngelami Foundation, had the incredible opportunity to host a motivational event for grade 11 and 12 learners at KwaMathanda High School, BB Section, Umlazi.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mrs. Zonke Shazi Hlongwane and her team for their valuable time and inspiring talks. Their presence left a lasting, positive impact on the young minds.

Pastor Lindokuhle Mthiyane of the Crown of Eternal Life Bible Church also graced the event, sharing words of wisdom and support. The message of hope and faith will continue to live in the hearts of these learners.

We’d like to express our gratitude to the school’s principal and teachers for opening their gates to us, making this event possible.

A special thanks goes to the Ikamva organization, whose support was instrumental in making this event a success.

Lastly, we’d like to recognize and thank Ward 84 Counselor, Msizi Mabaso, for his unwavering commitment to putting education first. Your support is truly appreciated and noticed.
